“SLOW FLOW” AMR CORRUGATED PIPE IN HDPE FOR HIGH GRADIENT LAYINGS
Supply and laying of HDPE double-wall pipe, internally corrugated and blue coloured in order to facilitate visual and camera inspections, externally corrugated and black coloured with external diameter Ø …. mm (minimum internal diameter….mm) with artificial macro roughness (type Artificial Macro Roughness) obtained through corrugation of the internal walls and aimed to produce energy loss in the fluid such as to reduce the average speed whenever the installation slopes induce higher values than those permitted.
The pipe shall:
be characterised by a Strickler coefficient not exceeding 50
be manufactured by a company certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2000
be manufactured by a company possessing an environmental management system complying with standard UNI EN ISO 14001:2004
have an ring stiffness class of SN 8 (equal to 8 kN/m2) measured according to ISO 9969.
have a test certificate on abrasion resistance verified according to standard DIN EN 295-3.
In addition, scientific data shall be presented certifying the actual hydraulic performance of the pipe, this documentation being released by a competent authority. Joints between pipe lenghts and special accessories shall be made through special couplings on pipe ends, provided with EPDM elastomeric gaskets complying with European Standard EN681-1, to be placed singularly on the first corrugation at the end of the pipe or through universal joints in MDC rubber (0.6 bar) or MSC rubber (1.5 bar) in compliance with the requirements of the works management.
