HDPE pipe with orange external wall and black internal wall for underground and gas pressure networks.
RC pipes (Resistant to Crack) for pressurized fluids supply, made of PE100 resins with high resistance to slow crack growth, FULLY comply with the standards used in the European market. The features of RC resins are much higher than those required by traditional standards, resulting in mechanical and durability performances that meet the modern needs of operators and installers; moreover, they turn out to be the most appropriate for underground laying “trenchless” techniques as well as laying “without sand bedding” as specified in S.T. PAS 1075.
:: Safety: visual recognition of damage acceptance limit of the external wall (maximum depth: 10% of the total thickness)
:: Reduction/absence of maintenance interventions
:: Reduced network management costs
:: Increased service efficiency
:: Minor inconvenience for users
:: Higher durability
:: Pipelines completely meeting the official standards
:: Suitable for all joints
:: Suitable for NO DIG techniques
:: Higher security in the presence of chemical agents
:: Extremely beneficial cost-benefit rapport
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION (type2)
RC pipe (Resistant to Crack) of TYPE2 for gas pressure underground networks, made of High Density Polyethylene PE100 resin with high resistance to slow crack growth, pigmented and stabilized in granules at source and distributed on two layers: the internal layer in black constituting 90% of the total thickness and the external in orange/yellow constituting the 10% of the total thickness, fully complying with UNI EN 1555, ISO 4437 and with the technical specification DIN PAS 1075, both included in the “technical specification IIP MOD. 1.1/14 – Rev. 0″ with issue of Piip/C quality mark. Pipe samples shall have successfully passed all the tests required by the reference standards above, including the PLT (Point Loading Test) for resistance to slow crack growth > 8760 h. The marking shall report in full the code of the raw material used for the production of the pipe, as well as other elements required by the reference standards.
