The electrofusion fittings have an inner metallic thread that, thanks to the passage of electricity, generates the heat requested for the fusion of the polyethylene in the inner surface of the fitting and the outer surface of the pipe, thus allowing the welding between the two elements. This operation takes place through welding machines, powered by specific generators connected to the fitting through cables inside the specific pins. There are also the \u201cfusion witnesses\u201d which are useful for the visual inspection of the properly fusion. The installation instructions can be read automatically by the device trough the barcode reported on every single fitting.
