The solid-wall inner pipe is made of black high-density polyethylene (PE100-RC) and bears product conformity marks according to (UNI) EN 12201-2 norm and DIN PAS 1075 technical specification.

It is manufactured using a homogeneous resin with enhanced resistance to:

– premature aging caused by chlorine-based disinfectants (DCR) – classified as Category 2 (CC2) according to PPI TN-43/2012 specification and tested in compliance with ASTM F2263-14

– slow crack growth (RC) in accordance with (UNI) EN 12201-2 and the DIN PAS 1075.

The standard pipe complies the hygienic and sanitary requirements established by Italian health regulations — as well as those of several other countries — for materials intended for contact with drinking water. The inner pipe features continuous metric marking, including all information required by the relevant standards and technical specifications for “peelable layer” pipes, such as conformity marks and code for the raw material used. The pipe is encased in an additional, contiguous and removable outer layer made of blue polyethylene with green identification stripes. This layer acts as a sacrificial protective barrier by:

– absorbing any scratches that may occur during trenchless (no-dig) installation

– preventing the transmission of slow crack growth mechanism to the inner pipe by ensuring the two layers remain separate.

The marking on the outer layer repeats, at one-meter intervals, all the information printed on the inner tube.

ADVANTAGES

RELIABILITY & DURABILITY INCREASING: outer protective layer absorbs accidental scratches without transferring notch stresses (SCG) to the core pipe.
Core pipe features combined high resistance to point loads and notches (RC) and to oxidative degradation from chlorine disinfectants (DCR)
RESILIENCE & SAFETY: enhanced resistance to improper handling and accidental site damage during storage, transport and laying, thanks to protective outer layer that preserve pipe integrity
TRENCHLESS COMPATIBILITY: designed specifically for trenchless installation techniques and no-dig pipe replacement
WELDABILITY: standard butt fusion and electrofusion techniques can be used once the protective outer layers are peeled back. For butt fusion with PE outer layer, stripping is not strictly required
WEATHERING PROTECTION: core PE pipe is protected against UV radiation and weathering during outdoor storage

[1318,1357,356,911,354,1322,550,355
358,339,581,353

post-48999","avada_portfolio","type-avada_portfolio","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","portfolio_category-epd-pipes","portfolio_category-epd-water-pipes","portfolio_category-fire-fighting-pipes","portfolio_category-hi-tech-en","portfolio_category-irrigation-pipes","portfolio_category-mgi-class-a","portfolio_category-no-dig-pipes","portfolio_category-water-pipes","portfolio_skills-fire-fighting","portfolio_skills-irrigation-en","portfolio_skills-no-dig-en","portfolio_skills-water-supply
["GET
