CAM

Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) are regulations for public procurement, also known as Green Public Procurement (GPP), which promote eco-friendly solutions and products. With D.M. n.256 of 23/06/2022, the CAM Report is required to demonstrate adherence to the CAM, focusing on the sustainability of the product life cycle.
Compliance with the CAM is verified through an approach that considers the content of recycled materials, emissions, and sustainable waste management, reinforcing the circular economy. The CAM Report, in addition to certifying compliance with environmental requirements, must include details on construction materials and related certifications.
Certificates such as “Made Green in Italy” and “Plastica Seconda Vita – Second Life Plastic” are recognized for CAM compliance, guaranteeing sustainable practices and attention to the product life cycle. The presence of such certifications in the CAM Report facilitates the environmental compliance evaluation process.

The “Made Green in Italy” label is an important tool for recognizing and enhancing the environmental sustainability of Italian products, contributing to the transition towards a greener and more circular economy.

The “Plastica Seconda Vita – Second Life Plastic” (PSV) label represents a crucial initiative in promoting sustainable practices in the production and consumption of plastics. It is an environmental product certification system that aims to valorize plastic waste, both pre-consumer and post-consumer, through its reuse in the creation of new products. This label plays a fundamental role in the circular economy, emphasizing the reduction of the need to produce new plastic and encouraging the use of recycled materials.

Valorization of Waste Valorizes pre-consumer and post-consumer plastic waste.
Traceability Ensures that products are identifiable.
