BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a method that allows qualified engineers and building specialists to create a digital model containing all information about the project life cycle. This method allows, at a project level, the integration in the collection, unification and combination of data when they are coming from different places and moments, thus optimizing the planning, the construction and the management up to the disposal. Therefore, BIM is particularly useful and fundamental for the monitoring, the verification and the reduction of mistakes during execution and management phases.
In order to accomplish this aim, it is necessary to have the “BIM objects” digital version, ready to be used for equipping the projects with all the required information, depending on the various levels of detailed picked.
