FIRST RAIN WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS

Runoff rainwater or first flush rainwater is rainwater that falls on impermeable surfaces (asphalt, roofs, courtyards). This water is particularly polluted because it washes away and transports substances that have accumulated on these surfaces (oils, heavy metals, hydrocarbons) during dry periods.

Centraltubi and the EPD certification

The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), drawn up by Centraltubi S.p.A. for polyethylene pipes and for the distribution of combustible gases, highlights a significant commitment to sustainability. It is a type III environmental declaration according to UNI EN ISO 14020, which provides the environmental data of a product, applying the parameters introduced in the life cycle assessment (LCA) and reporting the flows of materials, energy and potential environmental impacts at various stages of its existence.

West Irbid Waste Water Project

In West Irbid - as much as in similar projects in Italy and worldwide - System Group (and in particular its companies Italiana Corrugati and Futura) are proving once more that high level technical know-how, long years of experience, long-term partnerships with local representatives are the key and right elements that System Group will continue to offer to West Irbid and future Jordanian projects at the service of the local population.

Differences between HDPE corrugated and concrete pipes. Why choose corrugated pipes.

“Flexible” pipes (made of PE, PP, PVC and HDPE) are able to satisfy all the initial project needs in a more efficient manner due to the thermoplastic material characteristics. These characteristics can easily solve general work site problems because they are durable, chemically resistant and last but not least, easy to handle. The “rigid” ones instead (made of concrete, iron and stoneware) can offer a good static performance but they lose in durability, chemical resistance and being heavy demand more manipulation thus increasing installation costs.
