PE 100 RC+DCR BarrierAl-DCR Type 3 Pipes for Water

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Three-layer pipeline system (Type 3) for pressurized water conveyance, consisting of a smooth solid-wall inner core pipe made of black PE100-RC high-density polyethylene with co-extruded blue identification stripes on the outer surface. Certified in compliance with (UNI) EN 12201-2, manufactured using  omogeneous fully compounded resin with enhanced resistance to premature oxidative degradation caused by chlorine-based disinfectants (DCR) falling under Category 2 (CC2) classification according to PPI TN-43/2012, tested in accordance with ASTM F2263- 14, as well as superior resistance to Slow Crack Growth (RC) pursuant to DIN PAS 1075 technical specification.

Complies with Italian Ministry of Health hygiene standards for materials in contact with drinking water (D.M. no. 174 of 6 April 2004).  The inner core pipe features continuous metre marking providing all details required by reference standards, including certification marks, DIN PAS 1075 Type 3 designation, and raw material codes. The PE100-RC DCR core pipe is encased in an aluminium barrier layer made of wrapped, overlapping, adhesivebonded foil, which remains peelable for joint preparation. The aluminium barrier is jacketed by an extruded blue PE protective layer with green identification stripes. Outer layer marking mirrors the core pipe marking at every metre.
