TRIPLE WALL, DOUBLE SAFETY
Sewerage networks play a main role in infrastructures upgrading process of our Country. Products involved in wastewater management must guarantee on one hand, the IN/OUT system tightness and, on the other hand, they have to reduce networks costs (€/m for inhabitant) in order to set free useful resources to satisfy the stakeholders interests. This is what sets the question of which pipe is more suitable for usage.
In order to satisfy these needs, ITALIANA CORRUGATI S.p.A. developed the new TECH 3 pipe made of HMPP (high modulus polypropylene) which complies both needs.
Let’s see how:
TIGHTNESS SYSTEM (safe in case of groundwater)
Thanks to the TWICE system, the on-site testing of the gaskets’ tightness guarantees the perfect waterproofness both against leakages (from inside to outside) and entrance of water eddy.
TIGHTNESS TEST FOR THE “TWICE” JOINT
Thanks to this system, installers and officers of the works’ management can verify on site the tightness reliability of every single joint in a simple, fast, reliable and economic way.
P.N.: the pre-testing system of the TECH3 joints is not a replacement of the actual testing, which needs to be done on pipe’s parts that include a manhole and not less than 50 meters of pipe.
PIPE STRUCTURE (installation without sand)
The structure of the triple wall pipe, 100% PP, guarantees a high ring stiffness (> SN 16) and a high level of protection against accidental impacts and point loads.
TOLERANCE TO POINT LOADS
Moreover, the TRIPLE WALL allows to use alternative installation techniques, for example the “without sand” one, which consists of cover the pipe with the excavation materials.
The designed part also allows to obtain an optimization of the used material which reflects on an affordable pipe’s price.
TECH 3 INSTALLATION WITH DIGGING MATERIAL
In installations where possible, the reusage of digging materials can be an advantageous solution even for the costs savings.
P.N.: the Technical Department of SYSTEM GROUP is at disposal of those technicians upon request regarding sustainability of the ground and the possibility of using it as a reinforcement or to cover pipes.
